Hired to address data governance in private equity-led acquisition. Took product ownership and people management of $20MM ARR sales enablement offering in July ‘19. 

Led cloud-based digital transformation of offering, instituted design-thinking approach, redefined organizational function, developed talent, and published roadmaps for 2 products with a feasible timeline to migrate technology stack.

● Accelerated product lifecycle by researching usage patterns, defining value drivers for roadmap prioritization, focusing direction of development & features, refining prototypes, and executing product-led growth strategy. Led customer-driven concept, design, and launch of next-generation ingestion, curation, and reporting platform for enterprise data products and zero-to-one cloud-native digital app tied to more than $1 million in annual recurring revenue.

● Syndicated best-practices for $6M ARR cyber risk product, including: usage tracking, defined 6 value drivers to grow sales, retain clients, improve supervised machine learning model, and curation/scaling of internal data operations. Defined and articulated vision for 12-month migration to strategic technology platform, accelerating timeline over previous 24-month plan.

American Express

Led product development and data-informed design and launch of new digital B2B lending channel with $100M+ revenue on $1B+ book of business.

● Led initiative from design-thinking workshop through go-to-market with objective of enabling risk-based approval of loans up to $250k in 60 seconds, a radical improvement of user experience from phone-based interaction requiring multiple interactions and document transfers over 3-5 days.

● Connected business and personal data from proprietary data sources to deliver a compelling, premium user experience for 600k small business owners, demonstrating “art of the possible” which led to acquisition of technical and human assets of competitor Kabbage.

● Completed value stream mapping of high-quality, robust service model to align with AmEx digital brand experience and earning sign-off from stakeholders, including Marketing, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.

Product Management & Digital Acquisition, Merchant Financing

Designed and deployed data product management framework to engage domain experts, business analysts, and technologists with the goal of driving a culture of data quality stewardship, to reduce operational risk and improve prospecting of the Commercial P&C business.

● Executed deployment of SaaS product experience to categorize, reconcile, and visualize metadata from 6 lead generation and risk data warehouses, collaborating with senior managers to drive a culture of data stewardship with a$550k budget and on-time delivery, reducing operational cycle times and improved feedback loop.

● Developed processes to move sales enablement data efficiently across systems at near real-time and batch modes, reducing statistical noise by 50% for 10 key performance indicators tied to short and long-term management incentives.

Commercial Data Governance & Business Engagement, Program Manager

J.P. Morgan

One of first couple dozen hires to staff and launch a new line of business operating as a start-up within the bank to commercialize data products.

● Research and development of B2B and B2C data products for JPMorgan Intelligent Solutions, established in 2013 as the bank’s innovation lab. Working across lines of business and corporate functions the team's objective was to transform the bank’s data assets into information solutions for consumers, businesses and governments, providing insights through data mining, analytics, and modeling.

● Coordinated program governance, encompassing scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment, based out of New York, NY.

Product Development & Delivery

● “Tropicalized” global system and delivered $1B+ USD of working capital in local currency supported by global product delivery system integrating people, systems, and processes of 2 lines of business, 4 central bank auditors, and 6 sovereign regimes (conversing in Spanish and Portuguese).

● Identified formal and informal local office power dynamic. Developed relationships with specific subject matter experts, and established a norm of informal information sharing. Mentored junior staff, and coached colleagues to establish credibility with enterprise stakeholders.

● Normalized resilient feedback loop with responsible and accountable partners to increase confidence, anticipate challenges, mitigate delays, and reduce risks.

● Used language acquisition skills and ability to culturally assimilate with colleagues in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Built rapport at social gatherings outside the office environment (i.e. coffee, lunch, and happy hour)

● Led 100+ B2B client-facing digital project implementations of global cash management products (now Payments by JPMorgan). Developed and coached new hires, proactively updating policies & procedures to socialize best practices and support sustainable client onboarding. 

● Successfully integrated bank systems with 10+ complex customer ERPs processing of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (i.e. ACH, wire, SWIFT, check, and lockbox products) for Fortune 500 clients, based out of Chicago, IL.
