Professional: I build relationships with retailers, distributors, brokers, and customers across all channels in order to achieve growth and drive revenue. I have experience with accounts of all sizes from GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Wegmans, Stop & Shop, ShopRite, to Independent Grocery, and “Mom & Pop” Specialty. I’m well versed with the large distributors UNFI, KeHE, Muscle Foods USA, and EURPAC. I know the ins and outs of the Military Retail landscape at AAFES, NEXCOM, DeCA, MCX, and CGX. I also have experience in establishing and managing nationwide broker networks. Military: I served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer. As a Company Executive Officer, I was second-in-command and oversaw property, resourcing, and maintenance for a Headquarters & Headquarters Company of over 120 Soldiers. As a Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader and a Rifle Platoon Leader, I was directly responsible for the leadership, supervision, training, and mentorship of the 42 Soldiers in my platoons. I completed Basic Combat Training, graduated first in my class while commissioning through Officer Candidate School, and passed Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course all at Ft. Benning, GA. I also completed follow on training at the rigorous US Army Jungle School and US Army Air Assault School. Education: I earned my graduate and undergraduate degrees with honors from Pennsylvania Western University while holding leadership roles with numerous campus organizations including Student Government, The Student Association Incorporated Board of Directors, The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and the university’s football team. Athletics: I played for my university’s NCAA DII football program as a 3 year starter, 2x Conference Champion, 1st Team Academic All-American, 1st Team All-Conference Linebacker, and finished 7th in school history in career tackles. After college, I signed with a professional team in the German Football League and played 1 year overseas. I remain involved with football as a Volunteer Coach at local youth camps and as a Volunteer on my university’s Football Support Staff as the Director of Recruiting, Alumni Relations, and Social Media. Personal: My wife and I live in McMurray, PA with our son, Landon, and dog, Trooper. We love being active together biking, hiking, and going to the dog park. I’m also active in endurance sports having completed 6 triathlons (including 1 Ironman), 3 marathons, and 4 ultramarathons (including 1 100miler).
