Responsible for production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for the group companies including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
Provide insight into the movements in the P&L and balance sheet versus prior periods and budget
Assist with preparation of monthly flash forecasts and annual budgets for the Group
Work closely with a team of 10 managing and reviewing the accounting tasks, including:
•	Revenue Recognition for the group companies
•	Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
•	Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
•	Purchase ledger control, supplier payments
•	Accruals and prepayments
•	Maintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation
•	Preparation of payroll journals
Actively participate in the year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation according to IFRS
Preparation of daily safeguarding reports for client funds
Business partnering with the marketing team & other budget holders across the organisation to understand their monthly accruals and post to the P&L and balance sheet
Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to support growth
Provide ad hoc reporting to support management decision-making

Management Accountant

Ownership and preparation of month end reporting packs for the group holding companies and overseas operations
Preparation of prepayments and accruals for all group companies 
Monthly inter company recharges and reconciliations
Preparation of revaluation journals for all group companies 
Review of supplier and employee expense payment runs
Review of purchase invoice coding, fixed asset registers, daily cash books and bank reconciliations
Assist Financial Controller with statutory accounts prep and annual audit
Preparation, submission and payment of quarterly VAT return
Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger Controller as required

Maintaining the Purchase Ledgers across a group of seven UK & International entities including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and making BACS payments
Cash management including checking bank transactions daily and producing monthly bank reconciliations of both sterling and foreign currency bank accounts
