With a relentless focus on B2B marketing and sales, I use my technical and people skills to help companies understand and interact with new and established customers at every level of their buying cycle. A holistic approach is needed to interact with stakeholders within the customer organization and provide them with the amount and kind of information they need to support a decision. This requires smooth functioning of sales and marketing in unison to accomplish this, so much so that marketing and sales meld functionally in the eyes of the customer to form a revenue generation engine, and the customer sees people who are there to help them find answers. With over 30 years of marketing. product marketing and sales to inform me, and a background marketing and selling everything from capital equipment to security software, agtech to online training, I bring a broad understanding of real-world experiences to helping companies break out of their beliefs and adapt to the current reality. That reality is the result of unprecedented influences on our business culture that have come together in our time; the passing into retirement of the huge Baby Boomer generation that had such a massive influence on how we sell, a forced work from home experience that allowed many workers to evaluate their relationship with work, and the shared fear of a devastating virus that brought us together in many ways and forced us apart in others. These are not the same people we sold to ten years ago. Now is the time to abandon the old ways of selling. One on one relationships become many on many interactions. Abundance replaces fear. Open dialog supplants tricks and manipulation. It is not easy to change so many beliefs at once, and today many established companies are struggling with the process.
