Today, Snowflake announced our intent to acquire Observe, Inc.. With this acquisition, Snowflake will deliver AI-powered observability, giving customers the ability to understand and troubleshoot increasingly complex production applications and AI agents with speed and precision.

Once closed, Snowflake and Observe will deliver a fundamentally new observability model, using AI to accelerate root-cause analysis while dramatically improving the economics. Customers will spend less time sampling, filtering, and managing data, and more time quickly answering their most critical operational questions.

This will position Snowflake to lead the next generation of AI-powered observability, built on open standards, and expands our opportunity in the $51.7B IT operations management market. Excited about what this will unlock for our customers as they run mission-critical AI systems with greater speed, confidence, and scale.

AI is already reshaping how we work, but 2026 is the year we make AI real throughout the enterprise. 

As I recently shared with Fortune, I believe 2026 has some exciting things in store: 

1️⃣ more accessible and customizable models, 
2️⃣ agent interoperability taking hold, 
3️⃣ continuous learning becoming the norm, and
4️⃣ a higher bar for reliability and trust. 

The winners won’t be the companies with the biggest models or the most pilots. They’ll be the ones that treat AI as a strategic discipline—built on trust, governance, and measurable outcomes. 🎯
