Lead and conducted ongoing generative research on a brand new, transformative pharmacy and health services brand known as Evernorth. 

Independently planned and conducted over three discovery research studies to understand the needs and challenges of healthcare decision makers within the HR space and their process for getting and maintaining health plans within their respective companies.  

Independently planned and conducted seven generative research studies using a variety of methods such as remote moderated and unmoderated usability testing, first click testing, card sorting and tree testing in order to understand and the information architecture and content of the brand’s website.

Created actionable research reports that laid the foundation on improving the website’s information and brand architecture.

BMC Software

Conducted ongoing generative and evaluative user research studies on BMC Helix chatbot assistant, Digital Workplace (DWP), and SmartIT platforms within the enterprise space.

Independently planned and conducted over twenty research studies using a variety of methods such as contextual inquiries, remote-moderated, RITE, and A/B unmoderated usability studies to uncover user needs for improving the experience of using our products.

Created actionable deliverables consisting of journey maps, personas, annotated screenshots, and ecosystem maps to help the designers and product managers move forward with improving the experience for future updates of our product line.

Created the foundations of the Chatbot Design Guide to help our designers, researchers, product managers, and customers with good design strategy practices for building a chatbot within DWP based on the usability studies I conducted as well as secondary research.

Created a guide on good practices for running unmoderated usability tests via UserTesting.com to help my team members get well acquainted with the tool.

Daito Design

Worked on two projects as a Design Research Consultant. 

Project 1: Branding And Customer Experience Refresh For Client In The Oil And Gas Space 

Did a 3-month contract with a software client based in Houston as part of their branding refresh initiative. 

Conducted over 15 target user interviews to uncover motives for using our client's products, how they were using their products and areas of difficulty they had. 


Extracted and organised insights uncovered from the user interviews through affinity diagramming. 

Designed personas and customer journey map to illustrate the narrative of our client's target users and highlight opportunities for improvement within the user experience to be implemented within the branding refresh. 

Culminated in a website refresh, higher conversion rates, and webinars to keep their user base engaged. 

Project 2: Improving The Usability Of A Mineral Funds Tool Of Startup

Worked on a one month project with a client in Dallas in the mineral funds space to help them figure out how to improve their software.

Proposed and conducted 8 on-site usability tests followed by a SUS Assessment to understand where their product stands in terms of usability. 

Created three personas and an ecosystem map to illustrate the different needs and roles each member plays in the mineral funds space. 

Made recommendations for how to improve the design of their software.

Worked on a 3-month contract assignment with Applause to help their clients with discovering usability issues and making suggestions on how to improve their online experience.

Conducted survey research on the usability of IKEA’s website followed by a thorough usability report on how to improve their shopping experience.
	
Conducted a competitor analysis for Bank Hapoalim on best mobile app practices for banking.

UX Research Consultant 

Olivia AI

Consulted literature in behavioral economics and cognitive psychology to influence the design of the conversations between Olivia and the user. 

Designed surveys to figure out which areas of spending users needed the most help with.

Conducted secondary research on over 21 spend categories relevant to our target user's needs.

Designed over 21 conversation maps of how the user would interact with Olivia through various scenarios. 

Designed the dialogue of Olivia to be very persuasive and actionable. 

Released for iOS in 2017 and featured on the show, Planet Of The Apps.

Organized two successful TEDx Conferences at my university, held on April 13th, 2014 and April 12th, 2015 respectively. 

Coordinated with my 22-member team for the planning and development of the conferences ranging from speaker selection to marketing the event(s).

I am a UX Researcher with over 8 years of experience diving deep into new domains, untangling complex problems, and generating insights that have helped guide teams in making the best design and product decision moving forward. 

In my 8 years as a UX Researcher, I have had the opportunity to work on cutting edge complex problems such as: 

-Exploring how we can help users with navigating the world of personal finance through implementing principles from behavioral economics via a chatbot.
-Understanding the challenges SMEs within the energy sector face when learning how to use our client's software to perform their respective tasks.
-Exploring ways to implement chatbots within the enterprise space.
-Helping out with a product line refresh by conducting discovery research on our customers to understand how they used our company's products as well as the challenges they faced.
