Joined as Manager M&E, promoted as Director for Monitoring and Evaluation unit, had the opportunity to part of senior management team in Hand in Hand India, which is transitioned as an International organization.  I was reporting to then Group CEO and current Global Adviser of Hand in Hand India. It was a great opportunity to work with the inspirational women leader Dr. Kalpana Shankar and the highly talented senior management team in Hand in Hand India.                                                                                                                                  
As per mandate, I was an instrumental in establishing M&E unit for the organization. I have buit the team, developed, facilitated and rolled out M&E plans. Facilitated internal and external evaluation, social audits, experiments on process monitoring, Helped streamlining MIS and reporting system by through OR approach, provided simplified solutions and getting the support from  core program units, second line managers and external consultants. 

With constant support and backing from then CEO, the M&E team transitioned as "independent evaluation unit of the organization". A hectic field visits and working across different program models was really a great experience which helped me and the M&E unit to provide the much required feed back to the management team periodically. Credit goes to my colleagues worked in the M&E team so that we sell our ideas and received encouragement from senior management team.
The organization has multiple program models, believe in integrated development approach in line with  selected MDG goals. The major programs implemented by Hand in Hand were Self Help Groups, Health Education, Women Development, Environment, Micro finance, governance, WASH and village development programs etc.It was good opportunity to work in the large scale organization and contributed my expertise in leadership and mentoring role for the M&E department for the three years.

USAID funded programme, the primary responsibility was to provide consultation to Statistics Division at Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India on National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). The project titled IFPS II Technical Assistance Project (ITAP/USAID) -  where as Futures Group International, LLC played a role of providing human resources to the ministry. The position was based in Statistics Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi, India.

HMIS - I was working as M&E point person for the core team was working to conceptualize, develop and implement the HMIS. Several consultations with inter departments of MoHFWs and state governments on various health reporting indicators and M&E gaps. NRHM evaluation- part of the core team to conceptualize, selection process of 70 plus research organizations and supporting in the process of rolling out the evaluation programs. Had participated as a member of the team reviewed RCH programs. Part of the efforts on data triangulation work by assessing country's health data sources and providing a feed back to the ministry for better decision making and advocacy. Another interesting assignment was that I was supporting the expert committee established for estimating Expected level of achievement on family planning methods by carrying out the detailed estimation FP; significantly contributed in developing a estimation of expected level of achievement for the Family planning methods for India and states the report was submitted to the Ministry.
