Having over 20 years of industry experience in information security, Stacey Cameron has supported private corporations, civilian federal agencies, and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies’ classified and unclassified environments. She has supported a variety of compliance initiatives such as DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP), DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), (now the DoD Risk Management Framework),  DISA’s Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP) program, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), North America Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO 27001/2), Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), Service Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2), NIST SP 800-171 (DFARS) - Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) readiness. Specific areas of support include but are not limited to: identifying applicable security/compliance requirements, defining/customizing/documenting/implementing security controls concerning applicable standards; building information security programs and overall cybersecurity roadmaps; gap assessments, vulnerability assessments, business continuity planning, incident response tabletop exercises; social engineering; virtual compliance services, and information management system audits.

Stacey's professional experiences varied in roles from being a federal contractor, and federal employee, working for fortune 500 firms and working at small and medium-sized cybersecurity firms. Leveraging her computer science and system administration background, Stacey consistently helps her clients understand compliance standards from both technical and analytical perspectives. 

Throughout her career, Stacey's seen organizations struggle with compliance and cybersecurity standards/initiatives, often due to a knowledge gap, or resource constraints. Stacey founded CyCam Strategies to emphasize the necessity of Cybersecurity and to help organizations not only meet their compliance needs but to help them understand the true nature/intent of the regulations and tailor processes and controls that are optimal to each business environment.
