That feeling when you hear a country spoken about with such passion.......It is electric. 

This was exactly what happened on Monday at the UK - Jordan Tech Connect hosted by Dana Darwish with Jordan Source at the stunning Carlton Tower Jumeirah, in Knightsbridge.
 
Starting the day with breakfast networking, and meeting the lovely Moenika Chowdhury, along with Bruce Isaacs, Nigel Birch William Hicks Katie L. Johnson Sarah Britten Faisal Kawar Bashir Bseirani
 
We had the pleasure of hearing opening speeches from H.E Sami Smeirat The Minister of Digital Ecomony and Enterprise. H.E The Ambassador of Jordan, Lord Iain McNicol from the UK trade Envoy and some very passionate panelists who are not just shaping Jordan’s digital future, but redefining collaboration across the Mena region. 

It was an honour and a pleasant surprise to be in the presence of HRHCP AL Hussein Bin Abdullah II whose words on innovation and partnership truly resonated. 

Jordan is connecting talent opportunity and doing it with authenticity, warmth and vision.

A personal highlight for me was having a wonderful conversation with the very charming Sam Kafil (Osama Kafil-Hussain) from BAE Systems, I am genuinely looking forward to my visit to Jordan, I know I will be well looked after. We have some exciting conversations to be had.

I must mention the incredible food which was a complete sensory experience, cultured cuisine at its finest and the handmade gifts from Jordan was a beautiful gesture and is now in my office.
