How to use Claude Code for AI SEO:

The system I built runs on AIclicks data, 6 APIs, and a set of automation scripts that handle everything from source analysis to content production.

Instead of manually checking AI answers, copying URLs into spreadsheets, and guessing what content to create, I give Claude Code access to tools and my AI SEO frameworks as Skills. 

It reads the strategy, analyzes the data, and executes based on what it finds.

Here's how it works:

1. VISIBILITY ANALYSIS

Claude Code reads my prompt lists, pulls visibility data from AIclicks, and cross-references which sources AI engines are actually citing for each prompt cluster. It categorizes them by page type (listicles, guides, reviews, directories, Reddit threads) and flags where we're missing and where competitors are showing up.

2. CONTENT PRODUCTION

Based on what it finds, the agent drafts content in the exact format AI engines prefer for each prompt cluster. If listicles dominate, it writes a listicle. If comparison guides win, it builds a comparison page. It follows my content frameworks for answer-first structure, schema markup, internal linking, and E-E-A-T signals.

3. EXTERNAL AUTHORITY

The agent identifies the top cited domains in each cluster and builds an outreach plan. Which directories to update, which Reddit threads to engage, which review sites need fresh profiles. It drafts the copy for each placement based on the context of that specific source.

Google didn't warn anyone.

One day you're ranking #2 for your best keyword.

Here's the simplified version of what happens every time someone asks AI engine a question:

1/ A prompt is sent

It's usually long and specific. Not "best CRM" but "best CRM for a remote startup with 15 people that integrates with Slack."

2/ The AI detects commercial intent

If someone is looking for a product, service, or solution, the engine switches into a different mode. It knows it needs to pull from trusted, up-to-date sources, not just its training data.

3/ It searches the web in real time

The AI runs a search behind the scenes, usually through Bing or Google's index. It pulls the top-ranking pages for that query and starts processing them. 

4/ It extracts clean, structured sections
