I am a thinker, dreamer and doer and I think that my main strength and superpower is in being able to build things from scratch - be it products or businesses. I am entrepreneurial and passionate, make decisions quickly, most of the times they are the right decisions and when they are not I tend to learn from the first iteration. I spent all my career in tech, with nearly a decade on the consulting side. I still think that technology and engineering is the most fascinating place to be - this is where I've always felt at home and at ease, even on far too frequent occasions when I was the only woman at the table. I am the CEO and co-founder at The Dot Collective, a fast-growing data and cloud consultancy established in 2021 with an ambition to disrupt the market by bringing our expertise in cloud-native technologies and innovative tools and accelerators coupled with a strong outcome-driven and people-oriented start-up culture. I am also a founder at Data Pipeliner - a start-up disrupting the data industry and changing how the data lakes are built. Data Pipeliner is a code generation engine that helps enterprises to radically accelerate their data journey by automating the creation of cloud data lake infrastructure and data processing code. With Data Pipeliner you can get the data flowing in minutes, not days. Prior to starting my own business, I was responsible for running the London division of the award-winning technology consultancy BJSS - I had a responsibility for looking after 350+ very talented technologists, a portfolio of 50+ delivery projects and a £70mil P&L. Throughout my career I had a unique opportunity to get my hands dirty with quite a few disciplines including data architecture, solution design, service design, delivery management, business analysis and product management - writing code is pretty much the only thing I cannot do and it's better for everyone that way I think :) In one way or the other I've been involved in some of the biggest transformation programmes in the UK, a number of complex technical implementations within the insurance industry and advised and helped along the way a few start-ups in fashion, insurance and property sectors.
