Wow Labz is a turnkey product development firm specialising in building consumer as well as enterprise applications. We are currently focusing on building AI, blockchain and metaverse related products/ protocols.

Headstart Network Foundation

Headstart is a volunteer driven non-profit committed to changing the world through entrepreneurship. Headstart has played a significant role in shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystem of India by helping people start approximately 12,000 startups and small businesses. Companies that made their early stage demos at Headstart events have cumulatively added over 1,40,000 Crore (about 20 billion USD) and created over 4,00,000 direct jobs in the country. 

My primarily role is to create an environment where our volunteers experience growth, autonomy and a strong sense of purpose. 

Additionally, my key responsibilities involve organisational strategy, fundraising, building volunteer and executive teams, implementing organisation wide processes, conceptualising technology systems for growth, cultivating the organisational culture and developing brand Headstart.

I am lucky to have discovered my passion a bit early in my life! It is about encouraging people to believe in their dreams and making them happen. Hence promoting entrepreneurship is my natural self expression. 

I am committed to creating a thriving startup ecosystem in India.

I have played all kinds of roles at Headstart - leading a city chapter, leading all chapters in the country, team building, selling, handling media, partnerships, training, mentoring et al. 

Headstart is one of the biggest startup communities in India. At Headstart we organise over 150 startup events across 10 Indian cities every year; manage one of India's most popular startup mailing lists; organise one of their kind hiring, co-founder matching, mentoring events and a lot more.

Chipped in with all major Headstart activities including raising sponsorship, creating partnerships, media & PR, content and technology.

Primarily accountable for Startup Saturdays all over India. Guided and coordinated with city Leads across 8 cities to ensure that our customers and volunteers are delighted with what we create and deliver.
 
Built teams and put operational processes in place for new city chapters.

Lake Network

Lake is a decentralised file storage platform designed to power the next generation of DApps.

Design Day

In early 2012 I picked up an interest in Design and went on to create Bangalore's largest open design community called "Bangalore Designers"​. Subsequently, we invited new leadership, re-christened it as "Design Day"​ and took it to 3 Indian cities.

Wow Designs

At Wow Designs, we built web applications for small and medium businesses. 

While Wow Designs ran in autopilot, once in every few months, I took up interesting consulting assignments for some of our clients. I assisted them in writing business plans and building MVPs to convert their ideas into businesses. I also built online marketing strategies for some SMBs, ran social media campaigns for a corporate and organised some large tech/startup events. This was a period when I read voraciously on several topics and grabbed every opportunity to use this knowledge in my consulting assignments.

Progressive Politics

Progressive Politics(a part of Vinfinet Technologies) was my first entrepreneurial venture. It was a new age branding company that provided powerful branding solutions to political parties and canvassing solutions to political leaders over TV, Mobile and the Internet.

After quiting my job as a developer. I consulted in the area of sales and marketing. Vinfinet hired me and subsequently the founder invited me to become a partner in the venture. 

Besides revamping the company's training division, I set up an independent SBU under Vinfinet - "Progressive Politics" and laid the foundation for an embedded product in the agricultural-tech space.

Subex

Built software products on C++ and Ruby on Rails in Subex's esteemed Roadmap team. My (and my team's) job was to build future versions of the product in quick development cycles.

Software Engineer

I've built one of India's leading product engineering firms called Wow Labz. At Wow we build consumer and enterprise products and take them from idea to market in 3 to 6 months. We also have a portfolio of startups that we have invested in. 

I have also co-founded and currently lead India's largest early stage startup community - Headstart Network in a voluntary capacity. Headstart has been systemically fostering the startup ecosystem of India since 2007. 

I believe entrepreneurship, technology and design change the world. I keep myself occupied with activities in the intersection of these three disciplines. My other interests include learning about exponential technologies (quantum computing, AI, blockhain, genomics etc), public policy and mentoring youngsters with a fire to learn and grow.
