After graduating from Ryerson University’s Graphic Communications Management Program, I immediately began working in my field and quickly excelled. Starting out in an entry-level position as a Colour Matching Technician (Hostmann-Steinberg), I quickly moved into Research and Development and Outside Technical Service. With the skills I attained working directly with customers and troubleshooting their ink and chemistry related issues, I was further promoted to UV Development Coordinator. In 2008 I had the opportunity to work in Munich, Germany at a primary production facility and R&D hub for Hostmann-Steinberg. In the same year I also worked in Zurich, Switzerland and gained more knowledge in the development and formulations of UV Printing inks. Upon my return in 2009, I grew the Canadian UV business by aiding the sales team with product support, presentations and customized formulations of specialty inks. My greatest accomplishment was the development of UV Printing inks for newspaper printing. The development of this ink raised interest from the Flint Group who approached me in 2011, where I was offered a position as GTC Manager in Ontario. I quickly excelled in this role and moved to the Sales department as an Account Executive in 2013. Since then I have documented success at gaining new business and maintaining and growing existing business. In March of 2021, ePac Flexibles announced the opening of their 19th plant in Mississauga, Ontario. In each market ePac operates in, a similar dynamic unfolds – small and medium sized businesses are growing at double digits, and the partnerships ePac develops with them can and will help accelerate their growth.
