Public Information Officer, Communications and Media Specialist

Visalia Fox Theatre

• Target demographics, implement digital strategies and analyze new trends to expand brand image
• Manage, promote and retail Fox Pass Memberships, manage/update mailing list, prepare and send passes 
• Communicate campaign objectives and timelines to team 
• Create e-blasts, newsletters, press releases, event announcements and various publications
• Advertise and sell marketing packages to event promoters and endorse events to the public diligently
• Support Executive Director and Venue Manager with reports, events and marketing updates
• Engage with Fox Pass Members via e-blast, hardcopy mail and by phone to retain retention
• Research and develop new business relationships, initiate cold calls and sell sponsorship opportunities
• Extend cold calls to schools and educational facilities to discuss and book venue tours
• Train volunteers for special guest Fox Tours (educational, holiday, donors, etc.)
• Manage merchandise, inventory, order, display and advertise on all social media outlets
• Maintain social media plaforms; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Linkedin, WordPress and MailChimp
• Assist customers with inquiries and ticket sales; endorse and cross-sell events and Fox Pass Memberships
• Attend/speak at Chamber luncheons, red-ribbon cuttings, and various seminars 
• Work in collaboration with downtown partners to promote their businesses with The Fox
• Receive Board meeting agenda via voice recording, take notes and deliver to Executive Director via email

Marketing Coordinator

Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center

• Develop new business relationships, initiate cold calls and conduct market research 
• Communicate with clients on a daily basis and consistently nurture all business accounts 
• Effectively document all correspondence and notes into CRM program and follow up with client(s) 
• Customize and negotiate cost proposals with clients based on their event details and needs 
• Cross-sell product and additional venue space to increase revenue
• Provide tours of all four venues to clients, city officials, concert promoters and national firms as needed
• Partner with the Fresno/Clovis CVB to book new events and increase Hotel Transient Occupancy Tax 
• Travel locally/nationally to serve as company representative at tradeshows and public/corporate events 
• Meet daily with Sales Team to discuss weekly sales, financial forecasts and individual developmental plans 
• Coordinate with Event Managers and staff on event details

Sales Manager

• Qualify and interview talent selection including training, coaching, motivating and recognizing team 
• Prime administrator to facility network database and confidential files 
• Compile monthly fiscal reports and RFP presentations for the City of Fresno and Corporate review
• Ensure prompt payments for events, contract signatures, and proof of insurances are collected
• Manage office petty cash for Administration, Event Services and Operations departments

Office Manager

• Manage GM’s calendar and daily agenda, screen calls and schedule/confirm appointments
• Prepare and document GM’s expense reports, travel arrangements and vacation/sick day forms 
• Manage office inventory, including ordering, receiving and stocking items while upholding budget
• Input and maintain all events on a digital booking system and related corporate records
• Coordinate meetings and conference calls, prepare correspondence/agenda and record minutes

Executive Assistant to the General Manager

The Clark Center for Japanese Art & Culture

• Assist with the visual presentation of museum artifacts 
• Administrator to company website and all social media content
• Manage account memberships on database, review fee deadlines, notify members and collect payments
• Provide museum tours to visitors, school students and youth groups 
• Coordinate volunteer/docent schedules, special events and company gala’s
• Manage gift shop sales/inventory including: POS system, close/audit daily sales, and issue bank deposits 
• Assist in library: generating codes, computer data entry, shelving/re-shelving books

• Answer incoming phone calls, prepare company memos/correspondence, collect/distribute mail 
• Collect and review potential tenant rental applications, check references and run credit reports
• Assist rental property owners by visually preparing units with furniture and décor for customer presentations
• Prepare and review rental contracts with new tenants, collect signatures and payments
• Input new home listings into database and follow up on expiration deadlines 
• Communicate daily with Broker, Property Managers and Agents to assure their needs are met
• Prepare contracts for Agents and Property Managers review and client signatures

• Coordinate meetings and conference calls, prepare correspondence/agenda and record minutes

Memberships, fundraising opportunities, volunteer training & retention, and also increasing website subscribers and daily followers. 
My goal is to retain and build member/partnerships with neighboring businesses and Hanford as a whole, grow the brand image, and increase customer retention.
