I know you may be reading this and thinking “well, you probably love a paycheck”. That’s true, but when I love what I do, I never work a day in my life. I love helping my staff see their potential. My management style is thus: Everyone learns differently. It’s up to the curriculum designer and/or trainer/facilitator/leader to discover those individual learning styles and adapt to those styles. As a Trainer, I’ve had to design curriculum, but included feedback from my direct reports on the phones to practice delivering and tweaking the content. By doing this, I was able to ensure that the curriculum was relevant, accurate, and catered to multiple learning styles. I’ve had 3 significant Contact Center Manager Roles. In these roles, I’ve had anywhere from 5-100 direct reports, including some skip level down reports. According to my DISC Profile, I’m a C with some D tendencies. This makes me great in the Contact Center Manager role because I work best when my work is complete, timely and accurate. I’m not afraid to be the decision maker when I need to, but I prefer, when the situations arise, to include other contributors before making that decision. If you take a chance on me, I promise that I will be the hardest working person in the room, adapt to my surroundings, quickly and efficiently process tasks, and lead with confidence.
