I'm an employment lawyer with a holistic approach. My advice is always human-centred, integrating progressive leadership, workplace culture and psychology, through a purpose and values driven lens. I qualified as an employment lawyer in 2000, but the brave leap came in 2014 - when I co-founded our law firm to work solely with purpose and values driven organisations that aim to have a positive impact in the world. Our decision was underpinned by the belief that change-making organisations thrive when they truly live their purpose and values in *every*thing they do. This includes how they treat their people every day and how they approach processes and decisions that affect them. Through our progressive approach to the practice of employment law, we help these organisations and their people to thrive. Ten years on, our clients include leading UK ethical commercial brands, charities and not-for-profits. I work with HR/People Teams and other leaders to: 🌱  transform and reframe their response to employment law issues, so they're resolved in a way that feels human and is consistent with the organisation's purpose and values - safely within the framework of the law. 🌿  pro-actively re-imagine, redesign and thereby revitalize their approach to people/HR scenarios and processes. This involves laying the right foundations for everyone to be treated compassionately as human beings and for the purpose and values to be powerfully communicated and lived. 🌳  clearly communicate this refreshed approach within the organisation, either through delivering and/or designing workshops or helping with internal comms. 🌲 redesign employee documents (refreshed, culture aligned and more human employment contracts, policies, templates and other employee comms) so they don't detract from this positive transformation, but actually enhance it. My approach is generally inspired by nature (which as humans we are part of).
