Leading HSO's fundraising and marketing efforts. Supervising a stellar patron service and marketing team. Ushering in an era of data literacy for our organization and data hygiene in our databases. Revitalizing our corporate giving program. Identifying new sources of foundation and government support. Working to maintain and grow our Annual Fund donor base.

Director Of Advancement

Grew our total Annual Fund donors 63% while achieving a 70% donor retention. Established procedures for processing gifts, sending acknowledgments, and stewarding donors. Managed direct mail, telefunding, and major gift soliciting schedules. Developed reports for tracking and sharing progress on contributed and earned revenue. Learned to use Patron Manager and assisted with box office needs. Led front-of-house efforts for our welcome back to live events, the Sheraton Starlight Series at the Waikiki Shell. Led the rollout of our 2021-2022 Masterworks subscription launch.

Advancement Manager

Fort Wayne Philharmonic

Planned and executed a multi-channel annual fund solicitation campaign. Dollars raised for the annual fund grew 18% and the number of individual donors grew by 47% all while maintaining above a 70% donor retention rate over three years. Tracked and reported on contributed income and department expenses. Led the creation of the department's FY20 budget. Led the development department CRM transition from SRO to Tessitura. Maintained CRM structure post-implementation. Created and sent fundraising emails via Wordfly. Planned donor stewardship events ranging from intimate receptions for 20 guests to full celebrations with 175 guests. Assisted with the annual PHILharmonious Gala and Auction. Led the department during an eight-month search for a new Development Director.

Assisted the development department in achieving fundraising goals, provided exceptional donor stewardship, set up and worked special events, and maintained financial records and systems for contributed revenues.

Checked students in for pre-scheduled and drop-in advising appointments. Provided resources & information for students trying to make advising appointments online. Directed inquiries regarding employers interviewing in-house; information sessions; classes; classroom visits; staff meetings and training schedules.

Santa Fe Chamber Music

Trained and managed a team of 80 volunteers. Prepared and opened Saint Francis Auditorium for concerts. Supervised the lobby during concerts. Assisted patrons with seating issues. Wrote event reports after each performance. Prepared programs for stuffing and distribution. Maintained green room for musicians.

House Manager

Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW)

Opened Rhinehart Recital Hall for performers and patrons. Supervised student volunteers. Collected tickets. Distributed programs. Assisted performers throughout the performances. Closed the hall after performances. Prepared reports after each performance.

Updated the library catalog from an Excel document to an online database. Updated catalog information to match current music information. Pulled and filed music for the choral ensembles.

Taught music theory to students ages three to thirteen. Planned progressive lessons using games, technology, and movement.
