• Manage the relationship with local partners, big and small across spanish-speaking Latin America, in order to help them build strong foundations around monetization, subscription acquisition and retention and become even more successful on the App Store. 
• Be a liaison between apps and games developers and our diverse Apple teams, to build bigger business opportunities for both parties.

Business Manager Sr - App Store Latin America

• Worked on the curation and programming of App Store's Apps and Games tabs for Latin America and Iberia, and teamed with the Business, Marketing and Developer Relations teams to take our developers visibility to the next level, while giving Apple users the best and most relevant app selections from all over the world.
• Implemented several local campaigns including pitching and launching the successful Day of the Dead initiative, now considered a yearly App Store Moment.
• Participated on iOS 9, 10 and 11 launches as well on the releases of WatchOS, iMessage App Store, Stickers, Apple TV App Store and Apple TV App.

Elevator Games

• Managed the growth of the company, from 2 to 5 core team members to 7 in 2014, with more than 20 outsourced talents during the studio's life, both local and international.
• Created project plans and the business plan for the studio, budgets, and office administration along with my business associate and Game Director.
• Established the workflow to effectively work remotely in 2014 implementing Agile practices.
• Established relationships with clients and business partners, one of them Sony Playstation who selected Elevator Games as part of their exclusive Incubation Program.

About Celleste

Celleste is a 3D puzzle/arcade game made in Unreal Engine 3 for iOS devices, launched in july, 2014.

• Managed a core team of 5 and around 10 outsourced talents during a year and a half production, both on site and remotely.
• Managed a 6 language localization for the game.
• Oversaw the project overall quality and coherence, budget, marketing and relations with potential business partners along with the Game Director.
• Established a media strategy to put Celleste as one of the Mexico's most talked games of 2014, being featured in more than 150 websites, tv shows and magazines across LatAm and being featured by Apple in 123 countries.

• Best Mexican Game 2014 by Game Master, the best-selling magazine in Mexico.

Producer / Co-Founder

Square Enix Latin America

Project Management and co-production of 3 RPG and Card Battle F2P mobile projects: 1 in Colombia and 2 in Argentina from 3 of the best studios in Latin America.

• Along with the studios I stablished the project plan and defined the design of the games according to Square Enix Japan requirements.

• Effectively managed those 3 projects at the same time, all with a very tight budget and a 6-8 month scope. That included taking care of contracts, milestones, and reports.

• Maintained an open and constant communication with the development teams from the branch office located in Mexico City and travelling to the studios every two months for on-site supervision and support.

• Other responsibilities included Market Analysis, Live game planning, user acquisition and retention planning, reporting progress to Square Enix Holdings (Japan), Focus Groups and Localization QA for spanish speaking markets.

• One of the games, "Ultimo Carnaval" by OKAM Studio, was selected to be the first published game by Square Enix made by latin americans for the latin american audience. It was released in August 2014 for iOS and Android devices.

• "Battle of Littledom" from argentinian studio Zupcat and published by DeNa was released in October 2014 for Android devices.

Gamers RETAIL STORES

Gamers Retail is one of the biggest videogame retailers in Latin America with more than 120 stores across the region.

• Was part of the kick-off of a whole new digital strategy inside the company.

• Boosted site visitors, receiving more than 90k monthly visits due to a complete redesign of the site, Gamers.vg, and posting daily news, events and promotions.

• Grew social media channels from 10k to 100k Facebook fans in 3 months, with news, promotions, a TV show (Gamers TV), Youtube exclusive content, and localization for the Brazil audience. Twitter followers grew from scratch to 40k in three months.

• Coordinated a team of 2 in the beginning, then I joined forces with one of the most important game sites in Mexico, Atomix, growing the team from 3 to 10 people. 

• Mentored 2 community managers until they became work-independent.

• Some of my daily duties were the coordination and execution of promotions, special sales and community events made by publishers or by Gamers, Social Media and Gamers.vg content planning, coordination and execution, and Gamers TV content planning and quality assurance.

• Hosted Gamers DLC (A Casual talk between videogame experts talking about the newest videogames) and took part as and invited host in 4 episodes of Gamers TV which aired in a national TV channel (Galavisión).

Slang Studio

• Took care of a small team of developers, making Production plans, Risk Assessments, Project Pitches and follow ups with big clients such as Bimbo (the Baking Global Leader company with brands in America, Asia, and Europe) and Crossmedia Interactive.

• We were using SCRUM for all the projects inside the company.

• Was assistant producer in the development of Go 4 Gold, a successful online management game made for Coca-Cola UK in 2011, made in Unity and with a 12 people team with a 3-month deadline.

• Became Producer in the deployment of Panadería Bimbo, a Facebook social management game we developed in 2011 with an 8 people team.*

• Aditionally I was also given the responsibility of the development of 2 websites for the company, Slang Studio site and El Chavo Wii site (for the game of the same name). 

Slang Studio closed in May, 2012.

* Elevator Games then took charge of the maintenance of Panadería Bimbo Facebook, then with 200k daily active users.

Ediciones Era is an internationally known publishing house with more than 50 years of tradition. It has more than 400 titles published in literature, poetry, sociology, anthropology, politics and art.

• Was in charge of the publishing house site (www.edicionesera.com.mx) and online book sales. I worked closely with Joomla and Virtuemart for Content Management, and Google Analytics and Adwords to drive potential clients.

• Produced and edit several videos about authors and books.and helped in the graphic design area for the site (banners, visual integration) for big events in the publishing industry.
