Accountability for 14 Hotels and central responsibility for developing the Group Food & Beverage offer by working with various colleagues and suppliers. Key focus of the role is to drive profitability by developing revenue and cost management strategies in a variety of leisure and corporate locations. In addition, the role also involves working as part of an support team to develop a cohesive set of strategies to ensure that business goals are delivered across all hospitality disciplines.

131 bedroom, 4 star resort property, owned by Alternative Hotel Group with a diverse product mix including blue chip corporate accommodation, conference & banqueting business, leisure & spa, championship golf course and over 100 weddings per year. Focus applied to reinvigorate standards and deliver improved business results to offer confidence that significant Hotel investment would pay back.

General Manager

Jupiter Hotels Limited

Being presented with the opportunity to manage an £18 million re-brand and re-launch of an iconic 280 bedroom Hotel, owned by Jarvis Hotels, with large conference and event facilities is a career highlight. The Piccadilly Hotel underwent an significant refurbishment transformation throughout 2007 and 2008, whilst continuing to trade.

Personal achievements:
	Managed change by setting clear expectations and developing leadership team
	Steered success of  £18m investment by co-ordinating refurbishment program on site
	Developed stretching business targets, in collaboration with CEO and senior directors
	Achieved Ramada brand accreditation and successfully re-launched Hotel in market place
	Facilitated the successful re-negotiation of several critical corporate business agreements
	Restructured and developed a professional leadership team as part of critical path process 
	Undertook full review and reinstatement of all cost contracts, increasing profit delivery
	Facilitated, co-ordinated and managed the change of a business from loss-making to profit-making
	Improved reputation of Hotel through active networking and successfully hosting high-profile events such as the Manchester Hotelier's Association Ball in 2009

Bourne Leisure

170 bedroom Hotel, £5.5m turnover, marketed by Bourne Leisure as part of the Warner Hotel brand. The Hotel specialised in short break holidays, with leisure, spa, golf and banqueting facilities. Developed the customer experience, enjoying personal development through management consultants Wilson Learning, building a cohesive, engaging, customer focussed culture, attaining recognition for reducing negative feedback and by influencing a remote sales centre to exceed budgeted targets.

QMH UK Limited

General Management responsibility running a 126 bedroom Airport Hotel followed by 132 bedroom Town Centre corporate hotel with extensive banqueting facilities. Company highlights: Nominated for New General Manager of the Year in 2001 whilst at Gatwick Moat House, followed by leading the Bolton Moat House team to QMH Hotel of the Year in 2003. Hands-on, customer service and sales focussed approach, driving results from through an onsite management team, including revenue, sales, finance and operational disciplines.

Head of Department role responsible for delivering excellent standards in Conference & Banqueting. Included looking after Premiership football teams, International rugby teams and other prestigious groups visiting the city.
