Growing up Stephen spent most of his childhood days travelling with his father taking photos of New Zealand’s beautiful landscape. It was these experiences where Stephen’s passion for photography was born. So, when the chance to work as an extreme sports photographer opened up after high school, he jumped at the opportunity. Getting involved in sports like white water rafting, paragliding and jet boating, Stephen thrived off the adventurous energy of the industry. Being an entrepreneur at heart, this experience opened Stephen’s eyes to the possibility of one day owning his own photography business. Determined to make his dream a reality, he took on a senior sales role at Peter Isaacson Publications, as he understood that sales and marketing was going to be integral to his success in business. Seeing his potential and all he had achieved Stephen was appointed the Senior State Sales Manager role when the company was acquired by APN News and Media. Not long after he was approached by a good friend to help out with his photography company. Leveraging his experience in sales and marketing Stephen grew the business substantially over the next few years, going full time and being offered shares. Combining his passion for photography and business - Airview was the perfect fit. He later bought out his partners, rebranded the business as Airview Group and continued to grow out the team. Today, Airview specialises in providing aerial photography for Marketing Managers, Project Managers and Development Managers across multiple industries including real estate, property development, and construction. Including working with the likes of Lendlease, Mirvac, Meriton, Goodman Group, Stockland, AMP and Crown Group. The company utilises multiple aerial vehicles and years of photography experience to expertly capture the features and benefits of each property they work with. As Managing Director, Stephen oversees all areas of the business and works directly with clients to deliver stunning aerial photography.
