Financial Controller - Australia & New Zealand

To continually seek ways to improve the way we do business in our current markets/categories, both internally and externally, acting as a business partner for the UK and Africa Commercial function. 
To support the growth and transformation agenda by creating/managing a process and providing insight that enables the UK and African business to identify and evaluate new markets/categories and to support subsequent organic and non-organic growth initiatives.
To manage the financial forecasting and planning process. 
This is a pivotal role between Finance, Commercial and support functions.
•	Co-ordination, evaluation, and presentation of the inputs to the short (WPC) and long term planning cycles (Strategic Plan) for the UK and Africa region. 
•	Manage the period forecasting process 
•	Management and continuous review of Customer Prioritisation Model 
•	Commercial lead on cross functional process improvement / integration projects, eg TBEM, Balance Scorecard, future acquisition integration. 
•	Responsibility for management of the UK trade and consumer support budget, and for managing the interfaces with supply and support to ensure optimal investment return. 
•	Trade performance analysis on a periodic, and ad-hoc basis for controllers and commercial/ V.P. Sales. 
•	Ownership and management of trade terms. 
•	Strategic Commercial projects eg cost price increase projects. 
•	Develop, Lead and manage two direct reports 
•	Manage the pre S&OP process and liaise with operations
•	Pricing Management

•	Accounting / Financial Reporting & Analysis - Prepare financial statements for actual performance and monthly latest estimate forecasts.
•	Planning - Prepare financial statements and thorough analysis for projected performance for annual budgets and five year strategic plans. 
•	Interpreting and communicating performance - Review and analysis of actual and projected financial performance.
•	Decision support & New product development (NPD) - Provide support on investment appraisals, promotional investment opportunities, account /brand marketing strategies.
•	Business processes and systems - Ensure processes and systems are working smoothly and are appropriately geared to meeting needs of the business (SAP, PA, BW, and FDC).
