I manage and lead a team of developers, testers and specialist sales people, to provide an award winning crisis communication and organisational resilience software product. I am a strong believer in creating transparent and safe culture, to give people the freedom to do their best work, whilst also delivering positive results for stakeholders. I love product management, well-written malleable code-bases and working towards shared goals. In this role I have taken over the sales and marketing strategy of the division. I am experienced in selling both into the public and private sector and to clients across multiple territories.

Was the link between the 'customers' and 'users' and software engineers to deliver products and services to customers across numerous industries. I spent my time being a product manager for YUDU’s sentinel product, researching and analysing new opportunities, refining our product backlog, managing key stakeholders, managing project briefs, writing quotes. When time permitted, I also liked to get my hands dirty with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Laravel, Vue.js, Photoshop, Animate, Tumult Hype, Ruby on Rails, Illustrator and InDesign. My latest project, YUDU Sentinel (http://www.sentinelresilience.com), which is getting a lot of traction in the digital security and business continuity space.

I was responsible for developing new digital product offerings and services to book publishers from both trade and academic publishing. I also project manage digital ebook creation projects working within YUDU's container app framework or using third-party tools such as iBooks Author to create interactive learning experiences for both trade and academic publishers. During the pre-build stage, we carry out brainstorming sessions with digital designers and HTML5/Flash technicians to see how best the content should work within the relevant digital format. I work in a team which has a blend of experience from UX design, publishing, language learning and teaching.

I undertook many different roles working with large multinational firms in Mexico City, and supporting corporate training programmes that were run in conjunction with the multinationals. Tasks included, employee surveying and analysis, supporting sales powerpoint presentations, implementing a video tutorial for Mars Effem in Mexico, researching and shortlisting new office space across Mexico City, supporting corporate training programmes with Unilever and SCA Mexico.

With over 7 years of experience in product management and scrum, I hold two certifications from Scrum Alliance: Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified ScrumMaster. 

My mission is to create a transparent and safe work culture and be champion for secure and well crafted software. I manage and lead a team of developers, testers, and specialist salespeople, who share my passion for crisis communication and operational resilience software. I am also responsible for the sales and marketing strategy of the division, as well as researching and analysing new opportunities, refining our product backlog, managing key stakeholders, and writing quotes. I have a strong background in customer relationship management, problem solving and cyber security.
