📢 I have SO many questions... Like:

➡ Is boot camp going to be a thing in the first few weeks?  Do you accept doctor's notes??? 😏 
➡ Must one wear BDU's to the office?? Or would a simple camo hat suffice?   
➡ Are we required to bring weapons to work?? Or will one be provided to us? ⚔ 
➡ Is the kitchen stocked with MRE's??  Or can we bring our fruit gummy snacks from home?? 🍊🍒  
➡ Will job training require me to do pull ups?? Cuz that may pose a problem. 🤔 
➡ Will I get to go on any secret investment covert ops missions??? Cuz that sounds fun. 🧙‍♂️ 


So, SOOO many questions... 


Look, I'm all for creativity of the written word, but honestly, despite the MAJOR RED FLAGS and hilarity of such a ridiculous comparison, it's SO CRAZY disrespectful to our veterans who have actually served and defended our country (maybe that's just me, but IYKYK). 

This world is WILD SON.  WILLLLDDDD! 🤯

My love letter to Sales ....

Being a true "Operator" within sales organizations/departments for over 1/2 my career (11+ years) has been life altering & eye-opening to say the least. 

My first big girl job was working in the Sales & Marketing Dept for a family owned Extended Warranty/Insurance Company for 7 years that was later acquired by Protective Life. 

I had a long hiatus until a few years ago, where, for almost 3 years, I worked in 2 SaaS startups focused on lead generation for a variety of companies across a wide array of industries. 

Being 1 of only 3 Operators in those 2 startups was a true test to my patience, my communication skills, my people skills and my overall sanity.  

There were days there were not enough crystals or salt lamps that could woo-sahhh the insanity. Look, some of y'all WILD SON! LOL #IYKYK 

Yooooo, you folks are a COMPLETELY different breed - as a colleague, but the more I think about it, you're just a different kind of human.  Period. 

You truly are: 
➡ The yin to my yang.
➡ The other side of my coin.
➡ The Ernie to my Bert.
➡ The chaos to my calm.
➡ The Harvey to my Donna. *Suits reference if you didn't already know* 😉

You've actually made me a better Operator. 🗝🏆 

And here's why.  Your: 
📢 Energy.  LAWWWDDDD, your energy. 😳 
📢 Determination. Fall down 5, get up 6. 
📢 Creative Communication Skills are unmatched.
📢 Bravery to continue on despite the consistent "no's"
📢 Willingness to continually evolve, grow and improve. 

Working alongside you amazing humans has taught me incomparable and critical lesson's both professionally and personally. 📖 

If it wasn't for you all, I wouldn't be as determined, creative, brave or as willing to learn or find new ways of doing things as I am today. 📐🔨  

Ok, so I never was and will never EVER be a seller. 🚫  
It's just not in my DNA. I like processes, order, lists and analyzing a little bit too much. 🤓 

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I didn't learn from you, because I did... And still am.

Did I act like Kanye when Linda forgot her PW for the umpteenth time & needed me to walk her thru the whole process of resetting it again?!?!

Nope.  Sure did not.

Me to Me:  Good job Steph - Treat yo'self!!! 🤘😎🤘

Seriously though... 

🔵 Remember: Be kind to yourself. 🔵

The world can be a sh!tshow sometimes, but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate our small daily victories in life. 🏆🤌

I hope she'd be proud...





▶️ Of the woman I've become.

▶️ Of how I've overcome what I thought would break me in a million pieces.

➡️ Of not allowing the dark thoughts win.

▶️ Of standing 10 toes down in my truth even if that meant standing alone.

Our wins aren't always so obvious in life... but if you pause & think about it for sec, you'll realize you're doing pretty alright.
