Delivery of new business targets through distribution partners and Key intermediaries – predominantly through cross functional management.
Direct responsibility for the development and optimisation of partnerships and to identify / implement new tied routes for consumer and SME sales.
Multi-channel distribution management and development (protocols and pricing/product management e.g. price relativity and market intelligence developed and embedded within standard commercial processes).

Responsible for relationship/account management, target delivery and business development for three strategic distribution accounts, namely; SAGA Services Limited, SecureHealth Limited and Health-on-Line.

Strategic Partnership Manager

Responsible for co-establishing a new sales team of 6 franchise area managers, focussed on the delivery of aggressive new business targets, via UK intermediaries, in the Individual and SME sectors.
- Establish the team structure and geographical territories,
- Created targets, bonus and supportive performance management infrastructure
Team generated an increase in new business of over 400% in the individual market and 150% in the SME market.

Regional Sales Manager

Responsible for a team of 3, with key accountabilities including:
- Development, facilitation and production of Sales and Marketing strategic and operation plans, 
- Quarterly strategic progress reviews and documentation (including re-forecasting), 
- Budget production, management and re-forecasting,
- FTE and resource control (465 FTE), 
- Sales Bonus Management, 
- Management Information (weekly, monthly and quarterly),
- Development of a tactical ‘Prospecting and Portfolio Management system’.

Planning and Development Manager

Working with Directors and Senior Managers to develop the sales departments distribution strategy that saw the merging of Individual and Corporate (UK and International) sales and marketing functions and the creation of a centre of excellence for sales support.

Sales Planning and Performance Executive

Responsible for a project management team of four staff; this role involved the review, re-engineering and implementation of a new operational structure, workflow, processes and technology used within the SME telesales operation (comprising of 60 staff, both telesales advisers and administrators), as an annual secondment within the Business Leadership Programme (BLP * see below).

6 month development secondment as part of the GRE Business Leadership Programme (BLP*). Provided grounding into the financial services sector and provided a practical overview of banking, disbursements, expenses, reconciliation, credit control functions and statutory reporting. 

* The BLP was scheme running throughout the UK. Through localised director recommendation and testing across all GRE employees, approximately 260 individuals were short listed, with a view to establishing a group of 10 to 20 high performance/high potential individuals to fast track develop. After written application sixty (60) staff were subject to a two-day assessment centre, subsequently resulting in the final selection of nine delegates.

Responsible for retention and premium growth of Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) Private Medical Insurance portfolio, both intermediated and direct. 5 Direct reports.

Managing an internal telesales team of 5 staff, each responsible for delivering SME Private Medical Insurance new business and retention targets within the North of England region.
