I co-founded and have led the Queensland Futures Institute (QFI) since its formation in 2014; an independent, apolitical, future-focused, membership organisation committed to creating a prosperous Queensland. The QFI is now viewed by many as the leading platform to advocate for the longer-term future of Queensland.

Completed two terms as Chair of InvestLogan, Logan City Council’s investment vehicle. It invests in property and other initiatives to contribute to the City’s economic growth and wealth.
Over the last 6 years, the organisation has brought to market community housing, commercial and industrial projects, with hotel accommodation project in its final stages of due diligence.

Ipswich City Council

On 21 August 2018, the Queensland Parliament passed legislation to dissolve the Ipswich City Council. I initially joined the 5-person Interim Management Committee, and was appointed as the Administrator of Ipswich City Council following in January 2020. With the return to elected representation following the 2020 Local Government elections, I was then appointed as Advisor to assist the incoming Council and to monitor the continued implementation of the reform program.
