Manage a team of software engineers to proactively monitor and improve end-to-end system performance and identify deficiencies and potential failures throughout our infrastructure. Maintain a deep end-to-end knowledge of the complexity of our platform and continuously create improvements and automation to enhance durability, performance and maintainability. Manage the Change Control Process and use the best methods available for software deployments that meet our SLO (Service Level Objectives). Lead the development of automated solutions using an established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Manage the Blameless retrospective process.
Responsibilities include:
 *  Software Deployments for the entire organization, utilizing a canary strategy
   - We use an internally developed orchestration strategy 
   - We define and maintain the Change Management process
   - We develop and maintain post deployment strategies for optimal uptime / reduce rollbacks
 *  Application Monitoring
   - We design tools for application monitoring of our ad stack and developed our own single pane of glass that is abstracted away from the various monitoring solutions (application / infra).
   - We write SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the NOC (Network Operations Center)
   - We have defined a modified Agile SCRUM method for developing a framework that all of our application monitoring tools are built on.  Our goal is to develop software that is scalable, maintainable, and makes best use of code re-use
 * Production Incident Management
   - Triage incoming Production Incidents most of which are fully automated
   - Work with the various Development Teams to fix bugs and solve problems with an automation mindset
   - Developed and maintain the Root Cause Analysis process (Blameless Retrospective) for the organization with a focus on feedback to QA/Dev

Manage multiple teams of engineers in Chicago and Bangalore to ensure the highest quality for the Xpress Browser used in S40 and Next Generation Cellular devices designed by Microsoft.  Generate executive reviews for the organization showing that our products meet quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI).  Made significant improvements in overall quality reducing the hardening sprint from 12 weeks to two weeks.

Led an engineering team dedicated to design and installation of high availability telecommunications networks and data centers for first responders. 

Established an Software Development Life Cycle process model using Agile methodologies (eXtreme) maximizing iterative design techniques.  Used the JAD (Joint Application Development) process to write our requirements.  This improved implementation to the customer and increased productivity performance, because we took the time to understand their processes and designed products that would enhance their performance (automate when possible / reduce human error)
