Spent just over a year in the Business Development Manager role where I established a good grounding in the target market for Clear Junction. Successfully onboarded 40 new clients in this period across several jurisdictions such as the UK, Malta, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Israel, France, Italy, South Africa, Ireland and Mauritius.

June 2019 - Present Day | Contracted to The Centaur Group and NSS Consultancy Ltd for sales, client onboarding, business analysis, marketing and management of the group companies. Valtuus and then The Centaur Group vision is to create an omni-channel FinTech payment platform utilising a range of licences for payments, FX, issuing IBANS, card acquiring and merchant services. My role has been both sales and acquisition of licenses for the various business units.

The main focus of my role was to sell into the Bibby Financial Services customer base the Bibby FX service directly to existing clients and then to promote the product and service internally across its sales teams working on new business deals to integrate the FX product into offers to win more clients especially in the Trade Finance, Export and the Corporate teams covering an area from Leicester / Birmingham up to Scotland including some of BFS's largest offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Yorkshire. Bibby Financial Services is the UK’s largest independent invoice finance specialist and a trusted provider of funding solutions to over 7,000 businesses.

Vital Data Solutions Ltd

Sales and Marketing Consultant in the Foreign Exchange and Payments industry. Clients I have worked with include FEXCO Commercial Services in the UK and Ireland (1+ yr), AXIA FX (1+yr), Whites FX, No 1 Currency, Ezybonds Payments, Celebrity Fan Ltd and Digital Payments PLC on their Kartiera FinTech project.

Roles included Sales, Account Management, Marketing strategy, Business Analysis leading to implementing a national Telesales strategy, three Salesforce CRM implementations, Marketing projects including two full rebranding exercises, data acquisition and implementation, collateral, four full website design, copy and content creation, sales training, full MI suites, Social Media strategy and content, product development and mobile app development for Android and iOS which completely changed the sales strategy at AXIA FX leading to us winning over 20+ affiliate relationships with overseas property companies in less than 10 weeks.

Pockit World Ltd.

Alongside my contract sales and marketing roles in FX Pockit World was an innovative start-up agency developing mobile apps for a range of clients. We designed, built and published mobile app solutions for business and by January 2017 we had published our 20th mobile onto the iOS and Android app stores. What we found with this additional business was how we could leverage its services to provide reciprocal benefits into affiliate channels. For example, with AXIA FX, we were able to enter the saturated Private Client FX market and engage with dozens of overseas property firms on the back of this product and service signing up over 20 new partners for AXIA FX in the space of 3 months with this novel approach.

2011 - 2013 - Head of Corporate Division
Led the Corporate Division including the Lead Generation Team, Corporate Sales Team, and the Corporate Dealing Team. Headcount of 20+ and revenue budgets of £5million. The Corporate Division was the largest operation in the company with over 70%. Defined by new business and repeating business we would see 400+ new clients trading each year on a solid trading base of well over 1,000 existing clients. 

2009 - 2011 - Corporate Sales Manager
Alongside my sales role I took charge of the sales team whose task was to grow the corporate client base of businesses making international payments and foreign exchange. We grew the client base to over 1,500 registered users, £1 billion of FX turnover and over £4.4 million of revenue per annum. 

2007 - 2010 - Corporate Sales
Joining Baydonhill we launched the Corporate Division within the business. As well as a full time sales role I implemented the market strategy of data, CRM, collateral and the client onboarding/compliance process. In my four years carrying a new business target I met over 400 businesses, acquiring more than 150 new business clients.

2001 to 2003 - I worked as a Business Development Manager in the Northern Team selling foreign exchange and international payment solutions to Corporates and SME's in the Yorkshire and North East region where I hit challenging targets hitting budget each year.

2004 to 2005 - I helped create the FX Solutions team (National Accounts) which saw the acquisition of some real marquee names into the business such as Royal Mail, Carnival PLC, Focus DIY, Rolls Royce, Honda R&D and Unipart and hitting the stretching £4million revenue budget.

2006 to 2007 - I combined Regional Business Development Manager and Northern Regional Sales Manager roles. My RBDM role involved working alongside colleagues on higher value opportunities generating £1.3million of new business in 2006 and in my Regional Sales Manager role I took on the Northern sales team. In 2006 and 2007 the Northern Region was the leading region in the UK and many of the team have gone on to great careers in payments and banking.

Worked in the Service Sector channel of the Direct Sales channel. Fantastic company, loved the product. Finished in second place of the national team in 2001. Developed plenty of skills at Dolphin in terms of new business lead generation, prospecting vertical markets, writing proposals, technical implementations and developing new and creative customer collateral.
