I had a negative (trolling) type comment on my post yesterday, here's how I got them to delete the comment without even asking...

In the end, I had 3 options for how I could have handled this

- I could have deleted the comment and forgotten about it 

- I could have fueled the rage and defended myself

- I could have killed them with kindness & love 

Can you guess what one I chose? 

If you follow my content, then you know what option I chose

And when I looked this morning, the comment was gone 

Without having to defend my post or "fight back" 

And without having to delete the comment 

Because kindness is king my friends 

So, I sent some love and a hug 

Something like this...

"Sending a bunch of love your way ________ and a big hug"

Next time someone comes at you in the comments 

Try not to let your ego get the best of you 

Instead, show kindness and love 

And see what happens...

I used to only scroll (consume) like most of you, then one day I decided to start creating not only consuming, and something unexpected happened...

You can make all the money in the world, but if you don't get these 4 things, all those 0's in your bank account won't help...

I started my career in financial sales, one of the few professions where someone with a general business degree can make damn good money selling hopes and dreams.

And I was pretty good at it too, so I got to spend plenty of time with the veterans and the senior teams. The guys (primarily) and gals making 100's of thousands of dollars a year. 

But here's what I noticed...

Although many of them had multiple large homes, nice fancy cars, and suits that cost 1000's

Man of them didn't have a loving partner, a smile on their face, or a healthy body/mind 

Which is why relationships are more important than the money

Because they provide you all the basic things that you need 

So you have care, consistency, competence, and character 

That you can harness within to become your best self 

Sadly, money can't provide you with any of those 

In fact, it often distracts you from them instead 

Leading you down a path of greed and lust 

And further away from your true values 

The things that matter to you most

So do yourself a favor today...

Reach out to one of those individuals in your life that you're grateful for because they provide you care, consistency, competence, or character. 

And tell them how grateful you are for having them in your life and how important the relationship/connection is to you. 

Because if all your possessions and money disappeared tomorrow, they'd be all you had left...

5 years ago, I would struggle to get out of bed during the week...now, regardless of any external factor, here's my motivation...

I can't control the weather, I can't control my partner, and I sure as hell can't control my thoughts. 

But I can control my physical activity and my physical health 

It's why I go to the gym first thing in the morning now 

Before an external factor can affect my daily routine 

This leaves me feeling energized and confident 

First thing in the morning, no matter what 

Instead of just lying in bed, hopeless

On top of that...

I'm stronger and have less stress, which is priceless

So, if you're struggling, get a workout in first 

Before you have to deal with other sh**

Your body and mind will thank you 

That's a guarantee my friends 

And it's easily attainable...

Try taking an evening course (like I did)
 
Write on the weekend (like I do)

When I sit in the sauna and do some meditation 

As well as some post workout stretches 

Both things I never used to do 

But are now 2nd nature 

And I feel great! 

Not only physically, but I’m mentally improving each day as well. My pre-meditation consists of some visualization and affirmations.

Both things that allow me to tap into my inner needs and desires. So that I can align my daily efforts towards achieving  them.

Make physical and mental health a priority this year, and not another resolution.

Commit to it for the entire year and you will look and feel better. 

It’s damn near guaranteed my friends

They have made it into my WhatsApp messages and face-to-face conversations as well
 
Don't get me wrong, I feel for everyone who is losing their job 
 
But it hits home when it includes your friends and family 
 
Unfortunately, the cannabis industry isn't immune 
 
And layoffs have been happening in Portugal
 
As well as other European countries

1) The work you've done, not many others have done
 
2) The cannabis industry will continue to grow

Saturday’s are one of my favorite days of the week, especially now that I’m very rarely hungover…

Instead of sleeping in, I get to wake up at a reasonable hour and spend quality time with my partner.

We get to talk about our relationship and share our thoughts and feelings with one another.

We get to talk about what’s working for us and what isn’t working for us 

This all helps us connect with one another on a deeper level 

And then we share a fresh made meal together 

All good things for us as a couple 

And as individuals as well…

Because we are both continuously working on ourselves, but we’re also a team! 

Make time, for quality time with your partner everyone 

And find ways to support one another often 

Regardless of what the future brings

For me, location was at the top of the list and that’s why I moved to Portugal 6 years ago…

I wanted to be somewhere near the ocean 

I wanted to be near a large capital city

I wanted to be where it’s warm 

I wanted good living costs 

I wanted sunshine

I wanted less…

Of what?

Material things that America loves…

I watched a documentary about generational wealth this past weekend, and there was one clear theme between all the subjects...
 
All the money they made, never replaced their basic needs 
 
In the end, the $$$ did not pay for true love and care
 
It did not pay for the pregnancy of their child 
 
It did not pay for deep loyal friendships 
 
It did not pay for happiness within 
 
It did not pay...
 
Instead, it re-directed their focus and they had to pay
 
No family, no children, no friends, no happiness 
 
From decades of neglecting themselves 
 
And the values buried deep inside 
 
So...
 
If you want to be happy AND possibly wealthy as well 
 
Then focus on your core values first, and not the $
 
To make sure all your basic needs are fulfilled 
 
And your work aligns with those values 
 
Then you'll have what you need 
 
And not what you want...
 
Because you wouldn't want half the things you think you do if we would have avoided linking material things to status.

Commitment 

The answer to all your problems…

I’ve been afraid of commitment my entire life

Always fearing that if I open up too much, I’ll be robbed of something. It goes all the way back to my childhood.

That said, in 2022 I decided to start committing to things. My health, my work, and my relationships. 

Yeah, it’s still scary some days. But I’m not afraid of the commitment, I’m only afraid of the future might hold. 

But the commitment allows you to focus on the life you live today. And by committing to your health, your work, your relationships today, you’ve done all you can…

So, don’t be afraid of the commitment anymore 

And forget about what the future holds 

You’ll find more joy in today 

And you’ll figure it out…
