Lead the Nord Pool communication team responsible for all aspect of corporate communications, external as internal.  This includes strategic communication, media and stakeholder relations, branding, customer communications, web and internal communication.

Director Communications

Part of the Nord Pool Spot communications team with special focus on the Nordic and Baltic markets. Handling all media inquiries regarding the Nordic markets and create a bank of messaging on various subjects, open to all Nord Pool Spot spokespeople. Assist in all other tasks within the communication department.

Communications Manager Nordic

Odin media as

General Manager at Odin media (established February 2007); a Communications agency focusing on corporate communication, including web and design. Working for some of Norway’s largest industrial companies. 

As General Manager I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the team and overlooked the ongoing customer activities. With focus on retainers and structure customer development, we developed from five employees in November 2007, to 12 employees in the spring of 2010. As part of the role I worked approximately 50% on customer projects.

I was responsible for budgets and forecasts, as well as the reporting to the Board of Directors.

General Manager

Nettbuss AS

Head of internal and external communications within Nettbuss, as well as a key strategic communications adviser to all of the companies 14 subsidiaries across Norway. I planned and executed public relations strategies, including developing messaging, press releases and thought leadership.  I was the company's spokes person and handled media relations. 

I had the role as corporate web editor and was responsible for strategy, content and to oversee the technical development of several external websites. I both established and maintained the corporate intranet, in co-operation with other specialised teams within Nettbuss, and our owners NSB. 
My responsibilities also included annual reports, management presentations and articles. I took part of the branding strategy – including the full design program (a range from uniforms, signage, web and business cards).  I have developed and executed all aspects of public outreach campaigns as well as marketing campaigns for the TIMEkspressen brand.

Communications Manager

In a small Communications team (two people) I overlooked a wide aspect of communications task – internal as well as external.   

I was part of a cross European team developing a new and customer focused website, with a key accomplishment in launching Norway as the first country.  I cooperated with a Project Manager from The Netherlands, technical vendors from the UK, as well as communications and or customer service experts within subsidiaries across Europe. 

launch I established and maintained a strategy for UPC customer information TV channel. I had budgetary responsibility. I was in charge of all internal communication, which included writing articles for, as well as initiate development of, UPCs intranet. I also handled all media inquiries in the Head of Communications absence.

PR/Multimedia

Norske Skog ASA

I held a one year temporary position with the Communications department while one of the Communication Managers was on maternity leave. I was a part of a team consisting of members from IT-, HR and Marketing departments to develop a corporate intranet. I also participated in public outreach campaigns to increase media exposure, as well as special event planning. I took part in the development and the editorial work of the company newspaper and the annual communication strategy. Daily updates of company website.

NORGES BYGDEUNGDOMSLAG

Communications Adviser, Norges Bygdeungdomslag, youth organisation for rural youth with 5000+ members. I wrote, redesigned and edited the monthly members’ bulletin, wrote press releases, handled media inquiries and developed the organisation’s very first website. I taught Public Relations classes for members of the organisation
