Marketing communications writer, strategist and leader who views the world with the eyes a storyteller. I believe that good communication is a powerful force in our lives. And I believe that as marketers and communications, we have a unique opportunity to help our organizations tell those stories - in writing, through video, through pictures and sound. Now in academia following 10 years of progressively more responsibility in marketing communications, including content marketing, digital marketing and public relations. In version 1.0 of my career, I was a reporter who worked for daily newspapers in four states. My career has given me a broad look at how the world works. I am constantly interested in new challenges and for ways to make a difference -- for my employer, for my community, for my family. My newest passion is distance running. I have completed two marathons and looking forward to my third this fall.
