Studied emerging information technologies; also studied emerging markets such as satellite overlay for content delivery networks (CDN) and onboard entertainment. 

Performed early studies of laser communication for satellites and documented possible usages of Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) via satellite.
