• Proposed and engineered geometric modifications and software solutions to protect the aircraft engine fleet from damage and poor operational performance during environmental hazard encounters.
• Coordinated with sub-teams and manufacturers in the UK, Germany, and USA; to design a mechanical test rig to assess structural integrity of turbine blades during rain and hail encounter. FMEA was used for validation.
• Utilised SolidWorks for 2D/3D designing and conducted computational CFD analysis on ANSYS Workbench, to simulate turbine airflow and investigate hail impact and ice crystal formation on compressor fan blades.
• Spearheaded development and validation of a MATLAB software tool, to analyse and interpret large datasets, to quantify and mitigate risks of volcanic ash and ice crystals formation on turbofan performance. 
• Interpreted engine data and suggested upgraded design modifications to improve engine operational efficiency.
• Documented technical risk diagnosis reports, mitigation strategies and learning outcomes on Teamcenter.
• Updated real-time records, collaborated with teams, and facilitated internal data processing using SAP.
