In conjunction with Financial Crime team and other support teams such as the Innovation Team, Fraud 2LOD, Operations team, etc. I help to develop a holistic, risk-based backlog of monitoring stories to unify the alerting and investigation mechanisms from different business units into one.  I help develop the business processes to investigate and intercept transactions as a subject matter expert to provide feedback to refine the machine learning and rule-based model.
I work with the technical & operational areas to reduce false positives & increase its effectiveness in detecting suspicious transactions.
I investigate suspicious activity alerts and I am helping to build a network of SMEs and knowledge that can be used to assess each alert.
I constantly review the risk exposure in digital and offline journeys. I have a high-level understanding of the products and journeys across the enterprise and developed an overall awareness around the data and technical architecture of the tools and systems used.
I support the design of the enterprise-wide target operating model.
I work with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop relationships to
influence their decisions in order to support better outcomes for my team.

Fraud Prevention Analyst

My duties include (but not limited to) the following:

My main role which encompasses all of below was helping to build a brand new bank for the UK market.  This is under the Chase brand and launched on the 21st of September 2021.

Taking responsibility for managing and implementing the successful development of various Fraud and Financial Crime functions for JP Morgan. This includes delivering/creating vast amounts of content for various complex procedures and contributing significantly to ensure the bank meets its business objectives from a service delivery and regulatory perspective.

Leading in and developing content for procedures, training packs, knowledge guides and playbooks for all complex areas of Fraud and Financial Crime.
Created and presented several presentations to colleagues in various subject areas including developing and delivering Fraud & Financial Crime material.
Collaborating daily with senior management, legal, compliance, risks and controls and other fraud specialists to deliver business aims within specified deadlines.
Utilised all Microsoft Office packages plus SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Signavio and Microsoft Visio in an agile work environment to create, manage, track and deliver dynamic content.
Creating in-depth testing scripts/plans to test the efficiency of the tools and processes set in place for Fraud and Financial Crime Operations contributing to the customer experience journey.
Analysing customer transactions using various tools to determine potential fraud trends and escalation to the appropriate specialist teams for further investigation.
Experience of using the following anti-fraud tools & systems: SIRA, CIFAS, National Hunter, FCRM (Financial Crime Risk Management), Threatmetrix, Feedzai and Vocalink/MITS.
Developed, created and delivered multiple training modules to colleagues covering every aspect of fraud and financial crime using Adobe Connect.

I cope well in a high-pressured environment and I thrive on using my own initiative to make decisions and continue to improve myself.
