Embedded within SABIC's Engineering and Project Management (E&PM) function is a dedicated project support department section. This department plays a crucial role in fostering the growth of its organization by focusing on the professional development of its staff. Through various initiatives and programs, they aim to enhance both the technical and management/leadership capabilities of project and engineering personnel. This focus on continuous learning and skill development ensures that SABIC's E&PM team remains well-equipped to tackle the challenges of complex projects while fostering a culture of strong leadership within its staff.

Knowledge Management Lead

Situated in Shanghai, China, this research facility is designed to be SABIC's future main headquarters, centralizing various key functions. The building will house the SABIC Innovative Plastics team, dedicated to developing novel plastic materials, alongside the Technical Support team, offering expertise to customers, and the SABIC China Commercial team, facilitating business operations within the region. In total, the facility boasts a spacious staff office area designed to accommodate 1,500 employees, fostering collaboration and driving innovation within SABIC.

SABIC (China) Research & Development Center Project Manager

SABIC is taking a major step towards streamlining its logistics operations in the Middle East by constructing a central warehouse facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This facility is envisioned to act as the nerve center for all SABIC affiliates within Jubail and Yanbu, consolidating procurement, inventory, and logistics operations under one roof. This project marks a significant milestone for SABIC, as it represents the company's first dedicated central warehouse facility in the entire region. With this new facility, SABIC aims to enhance efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and potentially reduce operational costs across its affiliated entities in both Jubail and Yanbu.

Regional Warehouse Project Manager

SABTANK, a subsidiary of SABIC and is a key facility, serving as their main storage and export hub for finished products in the eastern region. It also functions as SABIC's primary import point for raw materials. As one of SABIC's many affiliated companies, SABTANK's core function is to facilitate exports and imports for SABIC  and its affiliates.

Site Superintendent-SABTANK & HQ

IBN ZAHR, a subsidiary of SABIC, has been in operation for over 20 years without a comprehensive electrical system assessment or proper turnaround procedures. During my tenure, I led a comprehensive assessment of the entire electrical system, followed by the development and execution of preventive,corrective and predictive maintenance plans, procedures, and template guidelines.

Electrical Maintenance Section Head

This is a collaborative project between IBN ZAHR and IBN AL BAYTTAR to upgrade SABIC's electrical system from 34KV and 115KV to a more reliable 230KV grid. This project aims to minimize system failures that have resulted in production losses and equipment damage caused by excessive starting currents. The upgraded system is designed to handle the current load and future expansion plans, with each feeder designed for redundancy. Initially, a single incoming feeder from SCECO was planned, with future considerations for a second feeder to mitigate the risk of a single point of failure. This project marks the first implementation of a 230KV GIS system for SABIC.

230KV Power Upgrade Project Leader

This department focuses on collaborating across functional teams to optimize electrical equipment maintenance, from planning and scheduling to failure analysis and prevention. Developing preventative, predictive , and proactive maintenance programs, ensure timely maintenance execution, and participate in design reviews for new installations, all while prioritizing EHS.

Maintenance Reliability Planning Engineer

IBN ZAHR's first CMMS strategy to streamline maintenance work order management, preventive maintenance, inventory control, and data integration. By actively involving maintenance personnel in CMMS deployment, reporting, and continuous improvement, can ensure system effectiveness, equipment reliability, and optimized maintenance practices.

CMMS Project Engineer

Throughout my electrical engineering career, I've honed my skills in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently, preventing equipment failures through proactive maintenance, and collaborating effectively to improve procedures. I prioritize safety, utilize strong problem-solving skills, and maintain meticulous documentation. My clear communication and commitment to continuous learning ensure I stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
