With a background as a digital fashion designer, 3D technologist, 3D visualization artist, product & industrial designer, and human-centered designer, I am passionate about using design tools to solve complex problems and positively impact people's lives. My journey began as a design student at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, where I gained extensive experience in the field. As a trainee designer, product designer, and executive product designer, I was able to expand my knowledge and contribute to the industry. Currently, I am exploring the potential of digital fashion as a Digital Product Technologist at MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka, to push the boundaries and overcome the limitations of the fashion industry. By utilizing 3D technology, I advocate creating realistic prototypes, test designs before production, and minimizing waste which are key promises for sustainable fashion. As a human-centered designer, I understand the importance of designing with empathy and considering the needs of users. This perspective, combined with my skills in product and industrial design, allows me to approach design challenges from a holistic standpoint. My curiosity about future technology and design processes has led me to explore new ways to solve wicked problems and shape human cultures. I believe that good design can have a positive impact on people's lives, and I am committed to using my skills to drive positive change.
