I believe that a civilised society has the responsibility to support, protect and invest in young people. Every young person deserves a place where they can experience acceptance, safety and positivity. Sadly for some children neither home nor school feels safe. I believe we need to rethink our education, care and youth systems for the 21st Century. I believe in education in its broadest sense. We need to equip young people with skills, but also with the confidence and resilience required to achieve and lead good lives in an ever changing world.
