Student Fellows actively engage students to ensure that they’re understanding the material, completing curriculum exercises, and feeling supported. Student Fellows lead study halls after-hours and on weekends, encouraging current students to dive into code during their off-time so that they can maximize their Codeup experience. Finally, Student Fellows participate in weekly team meetings in order to relay classroom feedback to the entire Codeup Team. Fellows know their cohorts inside and out and feel comfortable reporting to the rest of the staff regarding students’ daily experience and their needs/frustrations/hopes/dreams.
