Those were the days when LinkedIn was purely a recruiting platform.

Fast forward to today, things have changed here. Now, it’s more about building your “personal brand”.

You have a live network of more than 1 billion people, from 200+ countries. It’s huge…

You can get:
 • investment deals
 • Business partnerships
 • Talent
 • Serious buyers
 • Recognition
 • Community
 • Industry insights
 • Podcast/training invites

See, opportunities are endless. It’s up to you how you build your business, gain people's trust and credibility, and turn this into $$.

Don't think about getting 50K Linkedin Followers

It's not worth it…

If you are starting to build your personal brand in 2026, and your goal is to hit 50K followers or earning $15k extra or going viral…

…You are going to get disappointed. For sure.

Because, these goals are too big and vague for your brain. It hates big and complicated goals.

So, chances are…you will get demotivated and quit along the way.

Like so many people who start their fitness journey, set unrealistic goals, go on extreme diets; but can't keep up with it long term.

Simply because it's too much.

The approach is the problem here..

To get bigger goals like a massive 50K following or shed 30lbs fat, you need to break these goals into manageable pieces. The human brain loves it.

Just focus on the next step, that will be writing just 1 post today, adding 5 comments on your ICPs posts, sending 5 connections today. 

You see, everybody can do it. Easy. doable. 

As Dan Koe describes, gamify your life. Which means set your daily/weekly tasks and celebrate wins when you do it. 

This is the easiest and fun way of doing incredible things without damaging your nervous system. Play long term.
