Lebanon Innovate is an EU funded program with the main purpose of transforming and translating innovations and technological findings emerging from universities into market-ready products and commercial ventures. The program aims at  improving the industrial competitiveness, boosting innovation and building the capacities of stakeholders, in creating and sharing knowledge and commercializing technologies in addition to establishing the network and exchanging knowledge with the EU and diaspora networks to access international markets.

Program Manager

Lebanon Country Manager for the Water and Energy for Food (WE4F) program – MENA (funded by the German Cooperation, the EU, the Government of the Netherlands, NORAD, Sweden Sverige, and the USAID) and implemented by 4 consortium partners (Berytech- leading partner, Chemonics Egypt, IWMI and Cewas). As the main focal point in Lebanon, I was responsible to lead and coach the Lebanese SMEs beneficiaries on a transformational journey to reach economic, financial and impact KPIs. Also, I was responsible to focus on the gender inclusion component across the value chain, and the enabling environment component.

Country Manager

As a Business Development Advisor at ACT Smart Innovation Hub (funded by the Government of the Netherlands), my role involved guiding and coaching startups within the accelerator program. Additionally, I led the team of the Berytech Alumni Network project. This included reestablishing connections with graduated startups, assessing their status and needs, and offering grants to support their scaling journey based on specific milestones. Furthermore, I provided strategic advisory services to refine their business models, ensuring their ongoing growth and success.

As a Credit Analysis Manager at BLOM Bank, I led a team of credit analysts in evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and managing the credit risk within the bank's portfolio. My responsibilities included overseeing the credit underwriting process, conducting due diligence on new and existing credit relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. I played a key role in implementing credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk assessment procedures to maintain portfolio quality and minimize risk exposure.
