As a seasoned Digital Transformation Consultant and Campaign Manager, who has spent the past 7 years in higher education within the MAC sector, I bring over 22 years of expertise in digital marketing, social media, CRM, operations, project management and education to the forefront of my career. I am currently working with an NPO, spearheading a nationwide campaign to raise awareness and solutions for childhood literacy, a subject I am deeply committed to. As an ambassador in this vital area, I focus on raising awareness and driving initiatives that aim to empower the next generation through improved access to literacy resources, allowing them to thrive in the classroom both at a primary and tertiary level. The campaign's ambition is to leverage digital platforms, people networks and technologies to help solve the root causes of our nation's problem around illiteracy and subsequent unemployment, and not just the symptoms! My mission is to not only transform businesses in the digital economy, and drive literacy from a grass-roots level, but also to make a lasting impact on society by nurturing the minds of young learners and working professionals as a part-time tutor and facilitator at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. My role prior to moving into freelance and consulting was at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, where I led a dynamic team of 40+ professionals in delivering top-tier online education and learnerships. My role involved not only programme delivery, operations and project management, but also customer success for our corporate clients and their students, as we actively shaped cutting-edge online qualifications, skills programmes, and short courses that set the standard in digital learning. In my personal capacity, I volunteer my time as the Head of the IAB SA Education Council, where I channel my passion for digital innovation, diversity, and education into driving meaningful skills development across South Africa. This role allows me to exercise thought leadership and exert a significant influence in the education sector. My commitment to digital business transformation is further exemplified by my pursuit of an MBA in Digital Business Transformation at the Zigurat Global Institute of Technology where my thesis looks at EdTech and AI solutions for online education training institutions.
