Business Development Representative

Business development and external relationship building with school administrators interested in our program through various networking sources including email, phone calls, and online chat. Convey Whooo's Reading services through demonstrations, webinars, info kit, and other avenues. Work with the Leadership Team to establish strategic partnerships with individuals and organizations. Attend industry related networking events and other business development activities. Assist with the development of marketing and advertising materials. Facilitate collaboration between potential clients and the product team to optimize the user experience and customize the platform.

Senior Account Manager

Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach

Direct and manage programs operations within the Club, with an emphasis on National Programs and its encompassing events, community relations, and staff guidance/supervision. Responsible for community outreach and networking, along with the planning and implementation of community fundraising and Club events. Developing and maintaining partnerships and contact with external community groups, schools, parents and other organizations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities of the Club.

Actively develop high school relationships through career presentations, networking with instructors and administrators, and territory management. Managing inquiries to achieve prompt contact and performance activity weekly goals; utilize approved recruitment policies/formats; make prompt and effective contact with inquiries, and redirect unqualified candidates based upon incompatible career goals. Communicating with students to identify potential concerns and facilitate solutions by acting as a liaison with appropriate school departments to arrange financial aid counseling, document submittal, processing, and class attendance.

Advanced Colleges of America

Accomplishes admissions and marketing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and enforcing policies and procedures. Participating in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: trade shows, open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, workshops, and webinars. Responsible for maintaining and updating college website, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts; maintaining marketing material; community liaison.

Assistant Director of Admissions

Performing administrative and office support activities for supervisor; fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, filing, faxing and data entry. Responsible for working as a liaison between Account Executives and clients; ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. With a focus on B2B, I’ve helped bring in over 600 organizations (primarily universities and medical schools) with a lean sales team. We’re fortunate to be expanding now, bringing in some true sales pros I feel lucky enough to call my colleagues.
