We had a decade of infertility and second trimester losses. I spent a dark decade being super salty about this. I remember it too well. 📄 After 20 years in the employee benefits world on the insurance side, I am run-through-walls passionate about my work & our mission at Sunny Day Fund. We bring payroll-deducted, employer-matched Emergency Savings Accounts as an employee benefit to employers. This boils down to the fact that I root for underdogs, and that knowledge dissolves fear. I get tagged or texts every week from people sending me a picture of some creature that they're certain is trying to kill them. And every time I get to explain what that little guy is and that it is not, in fact, a source of eminent death. 💍 Wife to a man that's too good for me. Seriously, if you met him, you'd like him better than me, (as if you even thought that was possible!!) I rarely reference him because he likes to stay off the grid. 🥸 …I don’t. 😜 ✝ My current life is filled with service to others in any way. In part because that's what we are called to do, in part because it makes me happy, and in part because I'm making up for the broken human I was during my dark decade. Every angry prayer I ugly-cried back then has been answered 3 fold, and once you pick yourself up from your own selfish agony and see how many others need help, it's not about yourself anymore. It took me far too long to learn that lesson. Isaiah 48:10 is my verse y'all, for real for real. 😑It makes mai I twitch when eye sea people masseuse they're homophones. 🤕 Seriously, people, 👏step 👏it 👏up!
