Growing up as a little boy, I’ve always had a passion for math and science. So, it was no surprise that I chose to study engineering in college. Armed with my electrical engineering degree, I’ve had quite the taste of different industries from service to manufacturing to consulting while working on, and leading projects in North America, Europe, Africa, and South America. I’ve had the privilege of traveling to many countries and working with professionals from diverse cultures I was your typical introverted engineer. Just like many of my colleagues, I behaved like I didn’t like people. I worked alone unless the situation didn’t allow it. It wasn’t until I began to lead teams that I realized my dearth of the skills needed to be a better leader of my teams. So began my journey into developing the necessary skills. As I developed and put these skills into practice, the results showed in the way I led my teams. When people asked, and I began to share what I’ve done to turn failing projects around, the results multiplied. My results grew in the people that I mentored and coached. Thus began my desire and passion to enable and motivate STEM professionals and project managers to develop the necessary life-changing power skills that can transform their careers. So, whether it’s through coaching, speaking at conferences, delivering seminars and workshops, leading teams, or developing strong and trusted client relationships in an organization whose value aligns with mine, that passion to see careers transformed remains strong in me. This led me to publish my critically-acclaimed book, 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 - 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐨𝐚𝐫, in June 2021. The book highlights the importance of humility for everyone who desires success, especially for those in organizational leadership positions. I’m open to opportunities that will allow me to add value to any team as a leader in an organization dedicated to helping its clients flourish while also inspiring its people to become the exceptional leaders they’re meant to be.
