I am leading the Home Rental Experience Experience at realtor.com (90M MAUs).

• Led a team to design the backend architecture from a monolithic to a micro-service based orchestration layer using Node and GraphQL which has reduced web transaction times by 20%, leading to an increase in various KPIs such as UU, ULS, and bounce rate.
• Managed and delivered rebuilding of the rentals experience on Realtor.com in React which decreased render time, improved the average search result rank which resulted in 2x MAUs and a 50% increase in revenue YoY.
• Collaborated with the QE team to implement automated testing which lowered the release time from a bi-weekly to a daily basis, resulting in a reduction of defects leaking to production and decreasing the lead time from an average of 17 days to 5 days


My responsibilities include:

•   Collaborating with cross-functional groups such as Product Managers and Project Managers regarding product definition, schedule, scope, and project-related decisions.
•  Mentoring and supporting the growth of two teams.
•  Defining the success criteria of the team by working with the upper-level management to decide on the OKRs and execute initiatives in a timely manner.
•  Improving team productivity by introducing scrum best practices such as task estimation, backlog grooming, epic tagging, sprint demo, and retrospective.

•  Architected the back-end in node.js  and mongoDB to support event creation and auto-matching of players
•  Engineered design to support various features such as dynamic updates, push notifications, event auto-merging and invitations
•  Extended app functionality to support multiple games with the same platform

• Helped launch the Read Replica feature for PostgreSQL engine in Amazon RDS 
specifically working on displaying the replication status and replication lag to customers.
