Manage individual and team goals and establish work dynamics (e.g. gamification, power hours)
Explore new hypothesis for business development (different target markets, buyer personas, channels, messaging, team dynamics), test them empirically with the SDR team and make data-driven decisions

We had Timon from Dericon with us at our ELTIF breakfast yesterday.
With over 40 million current accounts, the Sparkassen have incredibly strong access to retail customers. Retail customers are the most important target group for ELTIFs.
Timon was therefore able to give us a better understanding of the topic of how to find a way into the Sparkassen distribution.

Have you ever heard of Dr. Robert Cialdini?

In our bi-weekly internal education series, it was my turn this time. 
My topic was "Sales is actually quite simple, isn't it?"

I started by asking the group what myths employees know about sales. 
Typical myths came up, from "Salespeople talk people into things" to "Salespeople have to lie." 😄

So, I tried to shed light on sales from a scientific, especially psychological, perspective.

💡What could be better than Cialdini's six principles:

➡️ Scarcity 
➡️ Likability/Sympathy
➡️ Social Proof 
➡️ Authority 
➡️ Reciprocity 
➡️ Consistency

For each topic, we discussed everyday examples. 
Additionally, I explained how we at portagon use these principles.
