'When one door closes, the other will open' is a motivational quote! If the door doesn't open, then making efforts to open is the way forward! My entrepreneurial long journey of 40 + years ended and I left that door to close! I searched my mind and found a new door hidden in my heart which opened to the world of 'Writer and Travel companion' I stepped into this new world on the 1st of August and invite all of you to walk with me! My Past 👇 My career began as a part-time door-to-door salesman during post-college hours and this motivated me to pursue self-employment. My entrepreneurial journey started in 1982 as a Prepress service provider for offset printers, publishers, advertising firms, and magazine publishers and lasted till the year 1993. I learned client relations, marketing strategy, fund management, labour relations, tax& audit, technology upgradation, etc, in this journey. Year1994 - 97 helped me build a tourism resort on the outskirts of Ooty in Nigiri's Mountains. I learned a bit about housekeeping, front office, stores & purchases, labour management, guest hospitality, external issues, and property marketing. Did a certification programmer for local unorganized tourist guides. Adventure Camping events were conducted from the year 1998 onwards at locations in Nigiri's, Kodai hills, and the outskirts of Coimbatore city. Students & Corporate employees were the main participants in outdoor camping activities and the focus was on team building, leadership, and survival skills. Natural fibres like Jute, Cotton packaging (bags & products) industry ventured from the year 2000 till 2017. Retail outlets, Corporate clients, Wedding caterers, Industrial fairs organizers, Tea factories, Standalone counters, etc were the client's services and few of the clients were deemed exporters of garments hence precision in quality control was well learned. * failures are certainly the first step upwards towards success and all that is required to achieve this is 'self-trust on self competency'. Try one last time moment 👇 An entrepreneur's craving to test self-employment competency never diminishes, but rather builds the motivation to board the business wagon, again!
