Turners Oak isn't your typical estate agency. Many of our clients haven't moved for over 30 years. We work with older home owners and their families to navigate and support the emotional, practical and logistical uniqueness of a move in later life. We understand that even considering a move in later life can be challenging, both for older movers and their families. Selling a much loved family home, full of memories and a lifetime's possessions, can be both emotionally and logistically daunting. We also know that moving to a new home, perhaps in a more favourable location or with a more suitable layout, often results in an improved quality of life and enjoyment for our clients. We work with others supporting those in later life including financial advisors, solicitors, later living home providers, IRCs, care homes and not-for-profit organisations. We are SOLLA Affiliates and recommended on the Equity Release Council website. We are purpose-driven and people-centric. By reimagining the role of an estate agent as a consultant to the whole moving journey we demystify the moving process and empower clients to make informed decisions that are right for them. We trust and empower our people without micro-management, stifling commission structures or outdated hierarchies. We do not incentivise behaviours that compromise our purpose and encourage our team to work collaboratively to create a business that allows all to flourish in alignment. I'm an Estate Agency leader combining a recent MSc in People & Organisational Development with many years leading various organisations within the industry. I'm purpose-driven with a focus on empowering people to reach their full potential with integrity and autonomy; coupled with the knowledge that this creates sustainable and profitable organisations. My leadership style is stable-based, inclusive and inspiring. I have a vast depth and breadth of knowledge and experience within the estate agency industry having led independent and corporate agencies, a charity owned agency, a property technology start-up considered to be one of London’s most exciting companies to watch, and the UK's largest online estate agency. This has allowed me to gain experience across a wide range of markets, with diverse teams, client demographics and substantial turnovers as well as working with different employment structures, objectives, stakeholders and cultures.
