Created an extensive Policies, Procedures, and Training Manual to ensure protocol alignment with the governing legislation established by the Physiotherapy Alberta College & Association.

Senior Techical Writer

Collaborated with the Mining Excellence team to create Autonomous Haulage System documents for Suncor’s Base Plant and Fort Hills Operations (Control Narratives, Guidelines, Procedures, and Standards).

Technical Writer, Mining Excellence

Gathered subject-matter-expert content for the timely completion of regulatory reports for submission to the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER): 
- 2019 Base Plant Fluid Tailings Management Plan (Directive 085)
- 2019 Fort Hills Fluid Tailings Management Plan (Directive 085)
- 2018 Base Plant Fluid Tailings Management Plan (Directive 085)

Created a report process that included:
- Effective gathering and implementation of report content, in an organized and timely manner, prior to submission deadline.
- Thorough live edit sessions with key subject-matter-experts.
- Quality control to ensure accuracy of report content. 

Assisted in the completion of post-submission AER Supplemental Information Requests (SIR)s. 
This project was completed, as required, while working simultaneously on projects for the Mining Excellence department.

Technical Writer, EH&S (Environmental Health and Safety) 

ENMAX

Developed IBM Maximo procedure documents and equipment specification templates for Asset Management planning work in preparation of conversion to the Maximo system: 
- Consulted with Asset Management Engineers, Planners, Senior Management, and Maximo SMEs to document processes for new and existing Asset Management processes. 
- Ensured compliancy of all documentation to ENMAX standards and branding guidelines.

Technical Writer

Suncor Energy Inc.

Worked with various subject-matter-experts to draft, organize, edit, and format mine engineering reports, regulatory compliance applications, engineering standards, work practices, and procedures: 

- Created and published 28 Mine Planning Work Practices with technical mining methodologies and Life Cycle Value Assessment philosophies, including an overarching Core Document (64 pages). Project received a nomination for Suncor’s President’s Operational Excellence Award.
- Prepared regulatory compliance reports for submission to the AER and Sustainable Resource Development (Environment and Parks). 
- Developed technical Water Resource Standards to define the standard of quality control and professionalism in the preparation of scientific and engineering documents. 
- Facilitated work and review sessions with SMEs to ensure accuracy and consistency of technical information and compliancy with regulatory requirements. 
- Achieved Key Contributor Status – “awarded to employees who excel in their roles and demonstrate high potential”.
 - Initiated and conducted report writing and grammar workshops for the overall improvement of technical reports and documents.

   -	Generated and organized documentation (SharePoint), based on SME debriefs.

Updated Business Process Procedures in support of an SAP document conversion project for Suncor’s Enterprise Resource Planning consolidation:
    - Worked with subject matter experts and a team of technical writers to convert 500+ Business Process Procedures for Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and IT.
    -	Performed quality assurance to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
