"Sum Up Yourself In Six" Challenge: ​​1️⃣ - Following knee surgery, I gave myself a six-month rehab goal of participating in my first triathlon. I had no bike, was terrified of sharks, and couldn't run, let alone walk, yet I accomplished my goal. 🏊‍♀️🦈 2️⃣ - I was dubbed an honorary Canadian. I improved the relationships and the service levels for my Canadian counterparts after they felt ignored by a domestic team. 🍁🇨🇦 3️⃣ - I didn’t start out in marketing. I started in analytical operations, moved into sales, and continued my love for drawing and animating on the side. After many years of being on the process side, I pursued my MBA while working full time and now I get to live the dream doing what I love. 📊🎨 4️⃣ - One of my life-long goals was to speak to large audiences of over 500. I thought I would get my chance working for a large corporation. I was honored as keynote speaker at my graduation from Arizona State University, where I finally got to speak in front of 4,000 people. 🎤💬 5️⃣ - I joined Roblox with my kids during the pandemic so we could play together. As a techie-geek, I ended up on the top 10 leaderboard (out of 432M visitors) in RLGL Squid Game. 🦑👾 6️⃣ - While volunteering my time with the non-profit Music for Relief, I met Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, my favorite band. I also attended their concerts & Coachella to help market various auction items and worked on social media. 🎸🎧 I welcome new colleagues to create stories and share learnings.
