Led an amazing team to market the subscriptions, events, recruitment and marketing solutions of all Emap brands: Nursing Times, Local Government Chronicle, Construction News, Ground Engineering, New Civil Engineer, Drapers, Retail Jeweller, Architectural Review, Architects Journal, World Architecture Festival, Heating and Ventilation News, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Materials Recycling World.

Chief Marketing Officer

Led the design of the HSJ membership model, increasing sales of corporate subscriptions by more than 20% of target. Completed the market research, modelling and execution of the business case for transitioning to digital only HSJ subscriptions and removing print, to make substantial cost savings while not negatively impacting sales and customer experience.

Marketing Director, Health & Local Government

Led the marketing of the Health and Local Government portfolios, Health Service Journal, Nursing Times and Local Government Chronicle, to exceed all subscription sales targets. 

Launched the award winning HSJ Intelligence exceeding all sales targets and achieving 89% of renewed billings, contributing to a business earning more than £1.5m in less than 2 years, and exceeding its business case.

Re-launched the award winning Nursing Times Learning after winning the business case for development in 2015. Oversaw the management of supplier selection and implementation, bringing a new product to market to generate 16,328 subscriptions achieving 237% of the new business target in year 1.

A Management Consultant within Capgemini Consulting's Digital Transformation and Business Analytics Capability focused on Marketing, Sales and Service.

-Worked with clients including The BBC, Morrisons, Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of
Scotland Insurance, BG Group and Yorkshire Building Society 
-Held positions as a customer loyalty, business change, communications and CRM specialist to
help clients to design and implement organisational change
-Developed a customer loyalty proposition to achieve greater customer retention and
increase market share 
-Assisted a client to redesign, communicate and implement its operating model and associated
organisation structure in the IT department
-Reviewed the digital strategy of a client’s online services, working closely with senior
management to make recommendations to increase customer satisfaction

-Successfully launched the company magazine and oversaw the re-launch of the company website and all marketing literature in French and English
